Short story about the creation of the website.
In this post I want to explain a little bit more the idea behind the creation of this website. Why would someone with no fame at all create a website with its name AND create a blog where he can write about anything ?
Well, it’s quite obvious when you think about it. Who wouldn’t want to have a personal sandbox where he can do anything ? I have my own personal domain, and I think I can say that I am able to write decent code, so why not get the best of it and try to learn new things along the way ?
I wanted to call this blog ‘The quest of learning’ initially, but I thought it was a bit too metaphorical. But that’s really it, I learned how to code, how to build web apps, CI/CD tools, but never got to use these things in a live website. So now I can learn things like DNS settings, deployment, CMS managing, and apply what I learned at school.
As for the blog itself : there are so many things that I want to try and learn, and topics I am truly passionate about. I wanted to have a place where I could write about the things that I learn along the way.
So that’s what this is, a sandbox created to build, learn, break things and share them along the way. Welcome !
